Steps for Switching a Domain Name from GoDaddy to Namecheap
Before you begin, the first login to your GoDaddy account and make sure that your domain is correct( register, administrative, technical, billing). Get access to the administrative email to complete the transfer. If any of your details are incorrect then your domain will get locked for 60 days and you will not be able to make transfer during these 60 days. Here are the complete steps:
Unlock the Domain
To unlock the Domain Go to your GoDaddy Account and get the login to your GoDaddy account. Click on the Domain tabs and Choose the Domain which you want to transfer. Disable or unlock the Domain name. It may take quite a few minutes and changes will appear in your Control Panel.
Remove the Domain Privacy

Obtain EPP Authorization Code

Go to the Namecheap account and click Domain Tabs. Select “Transfer” to transfer your existing domain to Namecheap.
Enter EPP Authorization Code
Check your administrative email to look for this Authorization code. Now go to the Namecheap account and check out the domains then click on the “Transfer in progress”. After this process, a page will appear with some Information which includes EPP code. Enter the EPP code and submit it.
Response to the Transfer Approval Email
