Web Host iomart To House Major UK Telco

Web Hosting provider and data centre operator, iomart, announced today that it has signed a five year contract with the UK’s leading telecom provider. The contract states that iomart will provide managed data center facilities to the well-known provider .

The contract is worth at least f £6.75m and is spread equally over the 5 year period, but excluding the cost of power. Supplementary revenues may be produced with the inclusion of additional managed services.

“We are pleased to announce our first significant customer for our datacentre facilities. The thorough diligence process that we had to go through to secure this contract confirms the quality of our data center portfolio and our managed hosting capability,” commented Angus MacSween, CEO of iomart.
