Web Host Covad Communications Extends its Line Sharing With AT&T

Covad Communications Inc., a San Jose-based Web host and integrated voice and data communications provider, announced that it is extending its line sharing agreement with AT&T.

The agreement will continue until May 2009. It includes extensions of the commercial terms as to the former BellSouth territory. Under the agreement, AT&T is guaranteed access for its copper and remote terminal facilities for the new customers it will acquire through Covad.

It also resolves a large number of disputes between the two firms and Covad president and CEO said they are pleased to extend the line sharing agreement with AT&T, allowing them to extend its services to the company’s customers.
