Superb Internet Launches Managed Hosting Division

The announcement follows Superb’s introduction of a new Managed Dedicated Server offering, last month, that brings R1Soft’s Continuous Data Protection backups to customers.
“This marks a natural evolution for Superb Internet, as companies become increasingly dependent on the Internet to reduce costs and improve efficiencies,” says Dale Bunten, director of sales and marketin at Superb Internet. “As a result, we are seeing heavy demand for our outsourced IT services despite the economic downturn.”
The new managed dedicated server line provides customers with enhanced security, disaster recovery, proactive monitoring, and managed firewall options.
Additionally, each Superb Internet customer is assigned to a certified Technical Account Manager, who is responsible for understanding and maintaining the customer’s infrastructure.
This includes identification of problem areas and pro-actively resolving them before an incident occurs.
All managed servers come with a 100 percent network uptime guarantee, 1 hour hardware replacement SLA, and Gold Level managed support by default.
The services are provisioned by certified network and systems engineers around the clock, at all three company-owned data centers.
The managed hosting divison is just one of the company’s handful of newly formed divisions. In May, Superb Internet launched its professional services division, comprised of a team of systems engineers that respond quickly to the needs and requests of customers.
