IaaS Provider GNi Partners with Avisé to Extend European Presence
Posted by Webhost - 18/08/09 at 09:08 pmInfrastructure-as-a-Service solutions provider GNi (www.gni.com) has reached an agreement with Avisé Partners (www.avisepartners.com) to provide sales and support at Avisé Partners’ Paris office to meet the increased European demand for IaaS offerings, especially among Software-as-a-Service providers.
GNi provides North American and European customers secure and robust server and network management featuring pay-as-you-go flexibility. According to GNi, global demand for these types of infrastructure solutions is growing at an unprecedented rate, as companies struggle with reduced capital and operating expenditures, and as hardware and data center equipment reach the end of their lives.
“Avisé Partners and its commitment to serving European customers, including SaaS providers, represent the ideal alliance for GNi as our global customer base grows,” GNi field operations general manager Robert Yusin said in a statement. “We are pleased to join forces with Avisé Partners to leverage our technology-infrastructure expertise and deliver sales and engineering support from our new Paris office.”
Avisé Partners provides trans-Atlantic market expansion services to allow US and European technology companies to successfully engage, accelerate and grow their businesses on both sides of the Ocean. Avisé Partners has supported more than 100 companies in their international expansion with a focus on business development and corporate finance advisory services.
According to Avisé’s figures, Europe accounts for about 35 percent of the IT spending in the world, while the US accounts for about 28 percent, for a total of 63 percent, providing European IT companies expanding into the US market or US companies expanding into the European market the potential to have access to nearly two-thirds of the global IT market.
Avisé Partners business development director Pierre Vacherand said GNi delivers the highest possible service for its dedicated hosting offerings, making it a perfect match for Avisé Partners’ clients as well as its end-user base. “This partnership allows Avisé to expand into the IaaS market in Europe with a world-class hosting provider,” Vacherand said in a statement.
