GoDaddy Sets Record For Charitable Donations

GoDaddy announced that it set a record for charitable donations in 2007.

The Web hosting titan’s philanthropic work for the year totaled $1.4 million (USD) in donations alone. The Scottsdale,

Arizona-based company made contributions to a variety of causes including domestic violence, child abuse, blind children,

unwed mothers, homelessness, Parkinson’s disease, Juvenile Diabetes, food banks and animal shelters. GoDaddy founder and CEO

Bob Parsons donated $200,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

“It’s important to us to make a difference in our community and all over the world,” Parsons said in a statement issued to

the press.
