FLV Hosting Completes Switch to Wowza Server Pro

FLV Hosting, a web hosting provider, announced it has completed implementing Wowza Media Systems Media Server Pro for their

customers. Wowza is now the exclusive supplier of Flash streaming administration software for the company.

The company states that it provides Flash Live Video hosting and software applications for small to large businesses. It

offers hosting services for Flash video delivery, including video playback, web-based video recording, live broadcasting and

encoding on the fly. By using Wowza Media Server Pro as one of the components on its server, the company claims to enable a

streaming platform for a wide range of interactive and multimedia applications, including video on-demand, live video

distribution, video recording and chat.

“Having Wowza Media Server Pro combined with our high end hardware, and gigabit routers and Content Delivery Network, we can

provide high capacity streaming at low cost,” says Paul Vizard, CEO of FLV Hosting. “FLV Hosting Media Server enables simple

encoding, configuring and managing the delivery of Flash video.”
