Shared, dedicated and reseller web hosting firm, Host Gator, has been ranked by Inc.com, as the 21st fastest-growing private company in the country, on its Inc 5000 list.

Web hosting provider UnitSpeed Host (http://www.unitspeed.com) is offering large Hosted Exchange mail boxes integrated with MS Sharepoint, it was announced recently. Alongside doubling the space available to customers, the company has also lowered package prices. Accounts now offer a 1 GB mailbox on the company’s EMC SAN storage and clustered servers.

Scottish software and Internet services provider iomart has bought web hosting company Easyspace, it was reported recently. The move, IOMART suggests, will “significantly enhance the scale and profitability” of its Internet business, adding 140,000 new customers to its books at a cost of £12 million ($22.1 million).

Web hosting industry tutorial firm, DemoWolf, has expanded its development program, through the release of 76 new tutorials for PuTTY, RoundCube, osCommerce and phpBB3.

Chicago-based managed dedicated hosting provider SingleHop (http://www.singlehop.com/) has announced it will provide Sphere Web Hosting (http://www.spherewebhosting.com/) with infrastructure and managed services for its shared, reseller and dedicated hosting business.
