Microsoft and WebFusion have joined forces to offer science, technology, engineering mathematics and design (STEM-D) university students free web hosting, IT PRO, UK reported yesterday. The offer is intended to encourage students to study in these areas and fill skills gaps emerging in the UK. In addition, the option will avoid student reliance on educational institutions’ networks. STEM-D students will be able to create online applications and websites to support their studies.
