Chris Ellison, a founder of a U.K.-based cyberliberties group, is upset that a
British Internet service provider took down his organization’s Web site. But
he’s more distressed about what he sees as a growing trend: ISPs’ increasing
willingness to censor sites hosted on their servers.

Rounding out its Internet commerce software offerings, Open Market (OMKT) next
week will release new software for building “industrial-strength” online
catalogs.

CompuServe, Inc. has announced the recent launch of BusinessWeb, a highquality
Web hosting service that will enable small to mid-size businesses to create,
publish, and maintain compelling business Web sites without expending large
amounts of time, money, and technical know-how.
